2nd aMember Installation for Testing

    Hi there,

    Question. If I setup a test environment with a duplicate installation / export of the live DB, will payments get duplicated?

    i.e. will payment requests be sent to paypal from both the live and test environment?

    In case you use PayPal Pro then yes.

    In case you use PayPal standard then no - in this case aMember do not send payment request to PayPal at all. PayPal process payments on its own and send notification to aMember about new payments.

    Please be sure that you disable Emails at
    aMember Cp -> Configuration -> Setup/Configuration -> Email (email method)
    change it to disable.

    I do not recommend to use your real user data on test server at all. You always can generate demo data with special tool
    aMmeber Cp -> Utilities -> Build Demo
