7 payments with 2 prices until cancellation

For a new membership type we need a billing plan with price A for 4 months and price B for 3 months and the membership needs to be valid until cancelled. It's like a lifetime membership with 7 payments.
I set it up in amember exactly this way but I am not sure if this will really work.
Anyone here that has done something like that.
