current shared hosting options

    My old webhost servint, got bought out by leaseweb, and I'm not happy with they service... they keep telling me I need to upgrade my plan to get them to update the server software.

    Any good shared hosting or VPS you recommend that plays well with amember and wordpress?

    I'm very happy with serverpilot.io hosting panel running on a DigitalOcean VPS (Ubuntu). ServerPilot is flexible, secure and stays up-to -date. The serverpilot stack is well sorted and tested before updates. Support was very responsive the one time I needed them. ServerPilot recently changed their pricing-structure so its less of a great deal... but I feel good services are worth paying for.

    Godday is also a very good platform for VPS or Wordpress hosting. You may try.

    Do you use the GoDaddy FULLY Managed VPS -or- the self-managed VPS. The price difference is significant. ($10/mo vs $100/mo ) for 2GB RAM/1vCPU/40GB
